Why Altseason Has Not Started Yet | Part 1 of 4

Everyone keeps asking the same question.

Where is altseason?

BTC moved.
Narratives popped.
Liquidity headlines are everywhere.

So why are alts still dead?

Why are bags not moving the way people expected?

Here is the uncomfortable truth most people do not want to hear.

Altseason is late on purpose.

And if you understand why, you will stop being frustrated and start positioning correctly.

Altseason Is Not a Button the Market Presses

Most people think altseason works like this:

BTC pumps
Money instantly rotates
Alts explode

That is not how it actually works.

Altseason is not a reward phase.
It is a release valve.

The market only releases alt liquidity after three conditions are met.

Until then, alts are intentionally suppressed.

Right now, we are still in that suppression phase.

Condition One: BTC Must First Exhaust Speculation

Altseason never starts when BTC speculation is still active.

As long as people are chasing BTC breakouts, leverage is concentrated there.

That matters.

Because leverage acts like a gravity well.

When BTC is the focus, capital stays trapped in BTC pairs, BTC dominance stays elevated, and altcoins starve.

Right now, BTC is still the main battlefield.

That tells you altseason is structurally early.

Condition Two: ETH Must Lead BTC First

This is the part most retail traders completely ignore.

Altseason does not start with random alts.

It starts with ETH outperforming BTC.

ETH is the bridge asset.

When ETH is weak versus BTC, capital does not flow downstream.

It stays defensive.

Until ETH BTC stabilizes and begins trending up, altseason cannot sustain itself.

You may see small pumps.
You may see sector hype.

But you will not see broad alt participation.

That is exactly what we are seeing now.

Condition Three: Retail Must Give Up Hope

This is the hardest one to accept.

Altseason does not begin when people are waiting for it.

It begins when people stop believing it will happen.

Right now, most retail traders are still emotionally invested.

They are frustrated, but still watching.
Still hoping.
Still checking charts daily.

That is not capitulation.

Altseason comes after emotional surrender, not impatience.

The market needs people to disengage first.

That is what time based capitulation does.

Why Altcoins Are Being Starved Right Now

Sideways BTC action plus weak ETH BTC equals capital suppression.

Market makers are not incentivized to push alts yet.

Why would they?

Liquidity is thin.
Retail positioning is still present.
Risk appetite is inconsistent.

If alts pumped now, they would be sold into.

That is not how real altseasons work.

Real altseasons start when nobody wants to sell anymore because nobody is paying attention.

The Illusion of Missed Opportunity

Many people think they already missed altseason.

That belief alone tells you it has not started.

Altseason does not feel missed.
It feels unstoppable.

When it begins, you will not be asking questions.

You will be struggling to keep up.

Right now, you are struggling with boredom and doubt.

That is the precondition.

Why This Phase Feels Worse Than a Crash

Crashes at least give clarity.

Sideways suppression gives nothing.

No trend.
No follow through.
No excitement.

This phase exists to push people out mentally, not financially.

Altseason needs empty seats to move.

And those seats are being cleared right now.

The Market Is Still Solving a Problem

Markets always move to solve the biggest imbalance.

Right now, the imbalance is not price.

It is positioning.

Too many people are still waiting for altseason.

Too many people are still holding without conviction.

Too many people are still emotionally attached.

That is why alts are not moving.

The market is still working.

What You Should Take Away From Part 1

Altseason has not started because the conditions are not complete.

BTC focus has not faded.
ETH has not taken leadership.
Retail has not capitulated emotionally.

That is not bearish.

That is early.

In Part 2, I will explain why liquidity alone is not enough to trigger altseason and why money printing does not instantly flow into altcoins the way people expect.

If you are serious about catching altseason when it actually begins and not chasing it after the fact, you need more than tweets and hope.

Inside my Discord, I break down ETH BTC, dominance shifts, sector rotations, and timing in real time while this phase is unfolding.

That is where positioning is built quietly.

Altseason never rewards the impatient.

It rewards the prepared.
